A better nights sleep had me up at 9am today, Naitro and Peter were up. Naitro cleaning up for the day and Peter reading on the back porch.
I was hungry and made my usual yogurt, fruit end granola. Today's Belizean yoghurt flavor was strawberry. It really didn't have much of a strawberry flavor and it wasn't as thick. Peter came in and tried to make omelette but the pan was very sticky and so scrambled it was, with some peppers and mushrooms.
Once showered, we all headed out and down the beach. We wanted to check with Gary's cousin about Lamanai tour pricing and also book Blue Hole with the other company. To make a long story short. We booked Lamanai for Tuesday with her and then went to book Blue Hole to be told that the weather would be such that they're were not having a Monday trip to Blue a Hole. There was a cold front expected and it would be very windy. Soooo...we returned to Gary's cousin and explained and asked to cancel and refund. She was very understanding and she did refund us. We returned to the other tour operator and booked Monday - Lamanai and Tuesday - Blue Hole
After that was settled, we headed to the water taxi to check schedule and cost. From San Pedro to Rojo Lounge it was $20B each way. We bought our tickets for both ways and our taxi would be ready to go in 45 minutes,

We returned to the Belizean Art Gallery for Naitro and Peter to review. I had purchased and was very happy with my choices. Naitro is considering a couple of paintings and Peter, a map of the island, Naitro hid her choices in a drawer ( just as I would) and decided to return later.
Time for the water taxi. It held about a dozen people and was mostly covered and quite small. We headed out into the open water, maybe a quarter mile off shore and headed north. We stopped twice and then reached Rojo Lounge, the view along the way being more developed than I had expected,
The beach at Rojo Lounge was beautiful. Rojo Lounge was CLOSED! There was a group of seniors hanging out and boozing it up, They has driven a golf cart from San Pedeo and were hanging out at the pool. We assessed the situation and even though quite shocked, we decided to hang out and enjoy the pool and nice surroundings. There was a storm in the distance and hopefully we could get some time in before a downpour, Another couple showed up that had gone out to the reef and returned due to rain, we chatted with the group for a bit and the seniors decided to head down to the matachica Resort for lunch.
After enjoying the pool for a bit snd the peace and quiet ( other than the annoying barking dogs ) we decided that we were bored and gathered our things, we also walked to Matachica Resorr for Lunch,
Matachica was quite luxurious with wide hammocks and comfy chairs with little tables right on the beach, under the palms. The sun was coming back out and the blue green had returned to the water. A breeze was swaying the palms, such a peaceful sound. Lunch consisted of a veggie pizza for Peter and a veggie wrap for me. Naitro had a taste of each. My wrap had potato, peppers, mushrooms, and two kinds of cheese...delicious. Peter liked his pizza also.

We envied Our time here but decided to take an earlier water taxi back, than planned. The waiter had called and had the taxi stop at the Matachica dock. Thus was very nice of him. We did leave him a nice tip. He and the resort really helped to salvage the afternoon.
Upon our return, we tried several times to find an ATM test would work for Peter and Naitro...no go. I was able to get some cash for Naitro and had some left to cover Peter,
Some very expensive frozen yoghurt later ( not very flavorful) ) we were walking to the cottage. The chocolate shop was closed, Naitro continued down the beach to loo for her vendor with the wooden crosses while Peter and I lounged in the back porch,
Naitro did find her guy and bought her cross and got a couple of hugs as a bonus. Lol
Peter made macaroni and cheese with some tomato and Parmesan and peas and carrots, just for me,
I wrote a bit and lounged. We hadn't done very much today but needed a rest none the less.
It had been a brief but nice afternoon on the northern shores of the island. A good nights rest would be needed as the next two days would be busy!
