Early, early...not me but my fave time to leave Boston. The flight was late leaving with did have me racing to the gate and ...last on the connection.
3 1/2 hour flight from Miami, arrival was met with partly cloudy conditions. Customs and immigration were a breeze...15 minutes, if even.
I did have to call the car rental as they weren’t there when I arrived but were quick to respond. Rawlda had asked them to escort me to the apartment, with a quick stop at a local grocery, so that I’d have an easy time finding the house. That was very nice.

Henry was there and welcomed me. He showed me around the property and where everything was in the apartment. He did have trouble with the gas for the cooktop but figured it out. I was quite hungry so a big meal was in order. I made scrambled eggs, wild rice, tomatoes, mushrooms, and cheese...YUM!
It had been a rushed morning so I spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing and enjoying the view.
When Rawlda came home she came down to the apartment and introduced herself and a little chat. She invited my up for some fresh fruit and wine on their deck with an even better view of the Caribbean as the sun was setting. This is what it’s all about, meeting new people, enjoying the day, and a bit of wine. What a njce evening.
