The theme of this trip seemed to be sleep. I couldn’t get enough of it. This morning, it continued. I finally climbed out as Rawlda knocked on my door,..aarrgghh.
I cooked a quick breakfast of eggs, wild rice, barley, tomatoes, and cheese. Yum! I was ready to go and it was before noon.
I said my goodbyes to Rawlda, thanking her for help help and hospitality. Her apartment had been a quiet, comfortable, and picturesque place to relax. Even though it was quite a drive from anything, it was a god choice
Lunch was again at Umbrellas. The food was good, price was right, and location perfect, it was another hot day but the breeze made it bearable for a leisurely lunch. The beet salad had been a good choice three times now. Today, I had a few scoops of ice-cream as they were out of cheesecake

I soaked up my bits of sun and view before heading to the airport. I ended the trip with the car intact and some of my sanity, Time to go...
So what had Grenada brought me? I had wanted this visit for many years. It was so hyped in my head that many realities had let me down. I had made a few new friends, had some nice beach time, and waterfall that didn’t live up to the photographic drama expected, the navigation was difficult, the art was great, and I had a wonderful apartment. All in all, it was ok...but not significant. I was let down but at his point I’ve been so fortunate to have has so many amazing...less than is more common, it’s all perspective.
