So, I'm sick - a cold I think. I did remember the Zicam and started that.
The repairman came at 10am and had to totally take the heater apart to repair it. He was a nice guy.
I looked online and decided that I had to leave this place and its difficulties, apartment, owner, and parking, I wanted to go the Caucasus Mountains and would be stressed the whole time. I needed some relaxation,
I booked a hotel room south of the city. It was a Ramada resort on the Caspian Sea with a sea view - very reasonable price too.
I decided to get ready, all packed, have lunch, and go the history museum and carpet museum.
Everything else accomplished, I headed out...FOG! The fog completely obscured the Caspian and it had dropped 13 degrees in just a few hours. Ugh!
I walked to the carpet museum - housed in a museum center, about a 15 minute walk but in the cold and wind, The carpet museum had been moved to a new building at the complete if there end of Baku's Caspian frontage, I asked about it also as it was to be close by. It was in a different location also. The girl was not very helpful and it was obvious that she didn't want to be,
I GIVE UP!
I walked back to the apartment, gathered my things, and headed to the car, second of the three parts of my Azerbaijan unpleasantness, I made my way to the car, hoping that it hadn't been towed or booted or who knows, it was there and available for me to depart. Let's get outta here!
I drove up the coast about 30 minutes to a nice Ramada Resort on the fog covered Caspian. This wast funny but I had to chuckle. I need a glass of wine,

The room was very nice and the balcony could be - if tomorrow brings the sun. I settled in and relaxed. I washed a few clothes. Now for some food.
I has heard good things about the food here so... I had lentil soup...okay. Nothing will ever compare to the lentil soup I had in Lalibela. The pasta with mushroom and cheese, baked, was very good and the cheesecake was not horrible for a country where this is not your thing, Service for the few of us in the cheaply opulent dining room were all served before the man who was there first, He got mad as I would in his place, the host ran after him and pleaded with him to stay, right away they somehow produced his food.
I returned to the room, wrote and watched the fog roll back in and takeover.
