Dec 1, 2018,

Life has been very stressful for the last few months so I was so happy to have this long weekend planned. I need a break, to breathe, to get sun natural vitamin D, and to decompress.
Saint Kitts and Nevis has been of interest for many years. It has beaches but also mountainous areas and a very unique railway that was built over 100 years ago. So that peaked my interest.
It is cold in Boston right now so running away to the Caribbean is quite the thing to do. I used American airline sky Miles my travel time was a bit longer than normal but hey I’m not complaining.
Fr me, I had a late flight out of Boston as it was 11 AM. Are usually travel out of Boston at five or 6 AM. My flights were uneventful and I had good seating on both. As is usually the case, there was a really interesting art exhibit in the Miami airport.
My arrival in St. Kitts was about 9:30 PM. I’m not used to arriving in the dark. Customer is in a Gratian was very quick and I was hailing a cab within 15 minutes. I had to call my host as the taxi driver did not know where the condo complex was. I thought this was quite funny as this is a small island at the complex was very close.
After speaking with Barbara there on our way and at the apartment in 10 minutes. It was $16 for that short ride… A bit much.
She and her friend had been to karaoke and were all dressed up and sparkly outfit. LOL she showed me around the apartment and gave me the general rundown of where things are located.
I settled in and walked to the main road but not of the restaurants are open in the grocery store was closed so I could not find any food for the night. As this is not the first time this is happened to me… I deal with it.
I was glad to be here and I thought of sun and relaxation, and what tomorrow would brig filled my head.
