I felt really tired last night… To the point where I felt like I was getting sick. Fortunately with enough sleep I felt much better today. I did sleep in until about 1030 but quickly showered and headed out to breakfast.
Next to the apartments is a coffee shop/café called Rituals. They had quite a breakfast and lunch menu along with the expected coffee. At 11 AM they were very, very busy. I had an omelette with mushrooms and cheese along with a passion fruit and orange smoothie. I am at was very good as the mushrooms have been finally chopped and there were a lot of them. The bread even tasted freshly baked. Yum.

The apartments is on the Atlantic side of the island near where it starts to slim down. I walked past that literally was only a half mile or so wide with the Atlantic on one side and the Caribbean on the other. I guess it’s actually a water way to the Caribbean.
It was about a 15 minute walk to Frigate Bay. There were a number of cafés and bars along the waterfront and then a nice stretch of sand within this Cove. On either side of the mountains begin again creating the feeling of seclusion. I found a palm tree that with shade my beach towel and took possession. I listen to music and read some magazines while enjoying the warmth, the sun, and the sound of the sea.
After a while, I decided to walk down to the south end of the Cove. It seemed that there was more to say around the north end if I can get far enough around. I was right as I could see all the way to Nevis. This was a really nice view the cove of Frigate and Nevis in the background. There were numerous sailboats to add interest to such a beautiful view
I enjoyed my time but as I was hungry, I decided to go to the grocery store. I walked back to the apartment but then continue on and the grocery store was just another 10 minutes. On my way I found the Marriott hotel, where I would be picked up for my rail journey tomorrow morning. The tour company was not open today so I emailed. I let them know that I would be at the Marriott which is one of their pick up points. The tour leaves at 8 AM but I don’t know what time they aren’t to pick me up at the Marriott. I guess if I have not heard anything before bed, I will get up at 6:30 and walk to the Marriott. I could take a taxi from there.
I've got some groceries and some wine and returned to the apartment. I made some yogurt and fruit and granola… Just what I wanted. I relax for a bit, wrote, and edited some pictures.
It was now about 515 and the sun will be setting soon. I walked back to the bay but they were a few clouds on the horizon and the sun was setting at an angle so it wasn’t the best of sunset views. The light cast across the sky and onto nervous was quite nice.

It was getting dark quickly now so I walked back to the apartment to continue my photo editing and watch some car shows on YouTube… I favorite pastime of mine.
I have dinner at the local Italian restaurant, and fantastic vegetarian lasagna. Back to the apartment for my own vegging.
What a nice relaxing day.
